Innovation is our recipe: DISCH is a leader in confectionery technology throughout Europe. We have furthered this expertise over the years. Today we are a contract manufacturer for companies within the pharmaceutical industry, for our customers from the dietary supplements market and for larger chain stores. Since 2003 we have focused on pharmaceutical products, which today make up 80% of our range. This is mainly due to the fact we are innovators in phamaceutical forms for OTC-medicines. We produce only in Switzerland, at our company location in Othmarsingen.
Medicine: our focal point
Jakob Disch established the company DISCH in the year 1903. In the following decades the company specialized in the manufacture of food, specifically biscuits and sweets. In 1967 DISCH began to produce lozenges. In 1993 the company was approved by Swissmedic – the Swiss medicinal institute for the manufacture of medicines. Today, DISCH specializes in the manufacture of pharmaceutical products and dietary supplements.

With an increasing focus on the needs of the pharmaceutical industry, we have re-structured ourselves technologically and organisationally, in order to meet the high standards of our customers as well as those of the authorities. The formulations we manufacture are based on technologies from the confections industry. In this specialised area we are among the leading contract manufacturers in Europe.
As a privately-held company our thinking and actions are focused on the long term. It is our goal to continuously develop the company for the benefit of all involved parties in order to offer the highest possible degree of continuity, safety and quality.
